On Saturday, 28th December 2024, Ideas and Data Global Academy (IDGA) hosted the Impact Summit 2024, a groundbreaking event that brought together changemakers, thought leaders, and passionate individuals committed to driving sustainable development and community transformation.

Held at the prestigious Tahir Guest Palace, Kano, the summit served as a platform to showcase success stories, engage in insightful discussions, and celebrate the achievements of participants from various IDGA training programs, including SDGs Advocacy, Leadership, Skills for Life, Photography, and the Green Rising Initiative.

The event began with arrivals and registration, followed by an inspiring Opening Ceremony led by Ibrahim Hamisu, who welcomed attendees with a message of hope and collective action. This was followed by a Keynote Address by Mustapha Shehu, who highlighted the importance of skills and leadership in building sustainable communities.

Showcasing Creativity and Leadership

Participants were treated to a beautiful poetry recital by Hafsat Ismail, titled “Celebrating Impact, Inspiring Growth.” This set the tone for the day, emphasizing the importance of creativity in advocacy and change.

Dr. Musa Abdullahi Sufi captivated the audience with a Skills Showcase, sharing insights on how creativity can drive impactful advocacy.
